Grant Bowles - Walgrave Ward (by-election)

Grant BowlesGrant has lived in Northamptonshire for the last 20 years and has worked and lived around the County in both Kettering and Northampton. He now lives near Daventry and works in Coventry for a health care provider.

'Daventry District is a wonderful area and is often overlooked when it has beautiful countryside, historic towns and villages and also has a flourishing and varied business sector ' he said

Grant has been involved in community politics for a lot of his time here and has previously stood for election. He is passionate about making sure the District Council responds to the needs of people who need support and feels that the current Conservative administration lacks leadership and fails to plan ahead. 'There needs to be more challenge' he said.

Grant is engaged to his partner for 20 years and in his spare time, he enjoys gardening, listening to music, playing Scrabble and is trying to learn Spanish.
