Daventry West

The Candidate for the County Council Election on May 4th is:

Alan Knape

Alan Knape

Alan Knape

Alan is a family man, with two young children, and has lived and worked in Daventry since 2011.

Alan has a good knowledge of the local community and is supportive of the Town and the wider county and wants to improve life for the people of Daventry and Northamptonshire. Alan is already a member of Daventry Town Council and would like to further represent the people of Daventry on the county council. Councillor Knape commented, 'The current Conservative administration, who have been in power for twelve years, have failed in their pledge to sort out the mess of the previous Labour administration.

Their policy of keeping council tax low to attract votes has meant that services have suffered even though they spent large reserves to plug the gap in funding.' Only the Liberal Democrats have a credible plan to fix the mess that the County finds itself in; Labour has proved they are an ineffective opposition and the Conservatives just promise more of the same. For a real alternative vote for Alan Knape and the Liberal Democrats at the Northamptonshire County Council election on 4th May.
